Aims and Scope

The principal aim of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal is to fully promote development of Hydrometeorological science by highlighting scientific achievements and facilitating their implementation into practice. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original research articles and reviews of scientific and practical value for a wide range of experts in the field of Natural Sciences under the speciality of Earth Sciences and the related fields.

The Journal Scope:

Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal publishes the original results of fundamental and applied research in the fields of ‘Hydrometeorology’ (Meteorology and Climatology; Agricultural Meteorology; Hydrology and Water Resources, Hydrochemistry; Oceanography) and ‘Constructive Geography and Rational Use of Natural Resources’ in the Earth Sciences. The objective of this Journal is to distribute information on modern scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign researchers, promote development of  higher education, and publish original research works on theoretical and applied aspects of finding solution to the topical problems in both the subject and the related fields of science.

The Journal is intended to be used by lecturers of higher education institutions, students, postgraduate students, researchers and experts in the field of Natural Sciences under the speciality of Earth Sciences.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal publishes papers in the following sections:
