Aims and Scope

The principal aim of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal is to fully promote development of Hydrometeorological and Environmental sciences by highlighting scientific achievements and facilitating their implementation into practice. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original research articles and reviews of scientific and practical value for a wide range of experts in the sphere of Natural Sciences, namely in such specialties as Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences and other related specialties.

The Journal Scope:

Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal publishes the original results of fundamental and applied research in the following fields: ‘Hydrometeorology’ (Meteorology and Climatology; Agricultural Meteorology; Hydrology, Water Resources, Hydrochemistry; Oceanography) of the specialty ‘Earth Sciences’ and ‘Environmental Aspects of Nature Management’ of the specialty ‘Environmental Sciences’. The objective of the Journal consists in presenting the information on modern scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign researchers, promoting the development of higher education, and publishing the original research works on theoretical and applied aspects of solving the topical problems in respective and closely-related areas of science.

The Journal is intended for use by scientists, academic staff of higher education institutions, students, postgraduate students, researchers and experts in the sphere of the Natural Sciences' specialties such as ‘Earth Sciences’ and ‘Environmental Sciences’.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Journal publishes papers in the following sections:
